We support development and education
In the autumn of 2022, we financially supported the World of ICT Foundation, operating at the ZSŁ Connectivity School Complex in Warsaw. Thus, we made it possible to implement the educational projects of the ZSŁ Communications Science Circle without interference. Classes and workshops were held at the school to develop students’ technical skills and promote ICT education.
Innovative project for students
As part of the cooperation between IT Factory and the “World of ICT” Foundation, the IT Factory Academy was established. The project was aimed at eighth-grade students of Warsaw elementary schools and first and second-grade students of the Communications Technical School. Its main goal was to develop the technical competence of participants through weekend classes. Thanks to financial support from IT Factory, the school was able to purchase the necessary technical equipment and provide logistics for meetings with students.
The rest of the funds were used to purchase prizes and organize the Science Picnic and the Logic and Mathematics Competition, which are part of the current activities of the Science Circle. The authors and coordinators of the project were teachers of vocational subjects in cooperation with students of the technical school, who conducted practical classes with future candidates for the technical school.
An investment in the future
The project ran from 2022 to 2023 and brought many benefits to both the students and the school. Participants of the IT Factory Academy had the opportunity not only to develop technical skills, but also to test their manual, technical and logical aptitude, which was a valuable contribution to their education and preparation for their future career path.
With the involvement of IT Factory and other educational partners, such initiatives can continue their work, supporting the development of young talent in technology.
